We are a FREE educational & outdoor clinic organization for Active Duty & Veteran US service personnel. offering a free guided outdoor experience.

BreakTime Outdoors is a Ohio non-profit founded by retired Pro Upland Hunting & Fishing Guide, Lawrence Friel., along with long time experienced fellow sportsmen. Friel has successfully competed and won several sanctioned outdoor events in Rifle, Pistol, & Shotgun (NRA Rifle, USPSA Pistol, ATA Trap) , Open Shooting Dog ("American Field" & "Walking Shooting Dog" bird dog competitions) , & lastly OSRC "Big Track" thoroughbred horse races as a OSRC licensed public trainer. POINT (!) being, is that our clinic coaches are well screened and are willing to pass their experience on to you.

Located in SW Ohio, our small organization offers a "one on one" learning experience in specialized clinics & small group outdoor educational programs, from " beginner to expert" levels of classification for U.S. Service personnel & Veterans. We are now focusing on the "total beginner to mid-level Angler" in the clinics. i.e. - "You are in a good spot if you want to improve your fishing skills or need some help getting a start in the sport". Do you want to learn from retired Pros & long time competitors ? Everybody "has been", or "is" a rookie at any sport ! You can learn new skills and can apply them in live coached situations, no matter what your skill level.. Our clinics are usually a complete day, with both "on shore" & "on the water" coaching. Individual Slots depend on availability, (4-5 minimum) per month) and are in the Spring , Summer & Fall seasons. In addition, small group "on shore" clinics will soon be offered on various outdoor activities. Check out some of our older gallery photos, we will be adding more as time goes on.
